Richard, are you a Tucson native or did you actually choose to MOVE there? My sister and her husband, and her boys, AND my mother, AND 2 of my sisters all chose to move from Michigan to Phoenix years ago. We've visited them a few times and I like to tease them that they stayed just long enough for their brains to dry up. Now they don't want to leave the sand for the green grass and woods of Michigan. If it's not hot, sandy or pointy they're not interested. But, after a few visits there, I can see that the desert does have its own mystique and can get under your skin. In fact, I even find myself daydreaming on occasion of the whole ambience and even wondering what deeper desert towns, like Tucson, would be like. But I attribute that to the accumulative effect of brain dehydration. One more visit might put me over the edge, and I might never return to the hydrated climes of Italy. Ah well, hope your 4th was happy. I'm always glad when another national holiday passes with no terrorist activity. Take care...and don't lose your water bottle!! JEFF from Italy
